Unify Multi-Cloud Networking. Operate as One Fabric.
IVI helps you design and automate a unified network overlay across AWS, Azure, GCP, and your data center using Arista CloudEOS. Gain consistent control, observability, and segmentation in every environment without rebuilding for each cloud.

Multi-Cloud Complexity Breaks Network Agility
In today’s hybrid architectures, each cloud has its own networking APIs, service limits, and segmentation models. This leads to fractured infrastructure, inconsistent security, and manual, cloud-by-cloud provisioning.
You’re left with:
-
- Policy drift and inconsistent segmentation
- Siloed tooling and visibility gaps
- Manual routing that doesn’t scale
-
Limited portability and workload mobility
Even when your cloud strategy is right, your network often holds it back.
IVI’s Multi-Cloud Overlay Architecture Service
Our team integrates Arista CloudEOS and CloudVision into a unified architecture that spans data centers and public clouds, giving you consistent control, segmentation, and observability across environments.
This isn’t just a product deployment, it’s a transformation of how your network operates.
We help your teams:
-
- Deploy a unified control plane across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem infrastructure
- Use BGP EVPN and VXLAN to establish scalable, cloud-agnostic overlays
- Extend consistent VRF segmentation across VPCs, VNets, and physical sites
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform for repeatable, automated provisioning
- Leverage CloudVision as a centralized platform for real-time visibility and policy enforcement
Phase 1: Multi-Cloud Overlay Assessment & Design
We begin with a topology and segmentation analysis across all relevant environments. We design the logical overlay, cloud regions, segmentation model (VRFs), and peering strategies based on your apps and governance needs.
Result: A resilient, scalable EVPN-based overlay design with VXLAN tunnels across regions, clouds, and data centers, mapped to your actual traffic patterns and operational zones.
Phase 2: CloudEOS Deployment & Routing Integration
We deploy CloudEOS routers in each cloud region and on-prem data center, integrate them with your existing networking layers (TGW, Azure VWAN, etc.), and configure BGP routing policies to control traffic flow and reachability.
Result: Unified routing across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, with deterministic behavior, loop prevention, and security zone enforcement.
Phase 3: Observability and Operational Telemetry
We integrate all CloudEOS instances with Arista CloudVision and configure real-time telemetry streaming, state monitoring, and network-wide analytics, not polling.
Result: An integrated network observability platform where your team can correlate latency, path changes, policy mismatches, and application issues across clouds.
Phase 4: Automation Enablement via Terraform & IaC
We build reusable Terraform modules using Arista’s provider, and structure them for team adoption, including input variables, Git workflows, and CICD integration.
Result: A fully automated, version-controlled network provisioning model across environments, enabling consistency, repeatability, and rapid change.

Key Design Considerations
Policy Consistency vs Cloud Simplicity
Native tools often stop at the VPC/VNET level. CloudEOS lets you enforce enterprise-grade segmentation and routing without cloud-by-cloud customization.
Workload Mobility
With a unified overlay and consistent addressing, workloads can move between clouds or data centers with minimal changes, no IP rewrites, no DNS hacks.
DevOps-Ready Networking
Terraform modules + Git mean your network changes are versioned, reviewed, and automated like code. This brings networking in sync with cloud agility.
Resilience & Observability
Telemetry feeds from CloudEOS give real-time network state, not logs every 5 minutes. You see and resolve drift, packet drops, and reachability gaps instantly.
Unify your network. Accelerate your cloud strategy.
Fragmented cloud networking leads to operational silos, inconsistent security, and manual effort at scale. IVI helps you change that. With CloudEOS and CloudVision at the core, we architect and automate a cohesive network fabric that supports your speed, governance, and growth, from data center to multi-cloud.

FAQs: Multi-Cloud Overlay Networking
What is CloudEOS, and why is it important for multi-cloud networking?
CloudEOS is a cloud-native network operating system from Arista that enables consistent routing, segmentation, and automation across cloud environments and on-prem infrastructure. It helps unify operations and policy across your hybrid or multi-cloud landscape.
How does CloudEOS create a consistent network across AWS, Azure, and GCP?
CloudEOS uses standard protocols like BGP EVPN and VXLAN to build a cloud-agnostic overlay. This lets you deploy consistent VRFs, routing policies, and segmentation across cloud providers and your data center, regardless of underlying constructs.
Can CloudEOS be fully automated using Infrastructure-as-Code?
Yes. CloudEOS integrates natively with Terraform, enabling you to define your entire network topology and policies as code. We help clients adopt GitOps models for automated, version-controlled network provisioning and change management.
What role does CloudVision play in this architecture?
CloudVision provides centralized configuration, policy management, and telemetry across all CloudEOS instances. It offers real-time streaming visibility, full network state awareness, and powerful tools for observability, compliance, and troubleshooting.
Is this service only for Arista customers?
No. While CloudEOS and CloudVision are Arista technologies, our service is designed for any organization seeking to standardize and automate their multi-cloud network. If you’re evaluating CloudEOS, we help design and deploy it effectively. If you already own it, we help you operationalize and scale.
How does IVI support the full lifecycle of CloudEOS adoption?
We guide you through assessment, design, deployment, and automation, from overlay architecture and routing policy design to IaC implementation and observability integration. Post-deployment, we offer ongoing support and governance models to ensure success at scale.
