AEGIS NaaS: The Modern Network Delivered as a Service
What is Network as a Service (NaaS)?
Network as a Service (NaaS) is a modern consumption model for enterprise networking. It provides fully managed network infrastructure—delivered as a subscription—removing the need for customers to own, operate, or maintain their own hardware.
Instead of designing, procuring, and troubleshooting your own network, you consume a complete service that’s built, supported, and operated by a trusted partner.
AEGIS NaaS, powered by Intelligent Visibility, is a fully managed network service built exclusively on Arista and Cato Networks platforms' best-of-breed platforms. It combines high-performance switching, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and SASE into one cohesive solution—engineered, delivered, and operated by our expert team.
What is AEGIS NaaS?
AEGIS NaaS is not a generic network monitoring package or a toolset. It is a complete, production-ready infrastructure stack paired with full lifecycle management and operations—delivered as a service.
AEGIS Branch NaaS Includes:
- LAN – Enterprise-grade switching using Arista’s campus switching portfolio
- Wi-Fi – Cloud-managed wireless through Arista Cognitive Wi-Fi or integrated partners
- SASE – Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) delivered via Cato Networks for edge security, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, and cloud optimization
- NAC - Network Access Control, integrated with your Directory Services enforces user and device-specific policies for all wired and wireless connections.
AEGIS NaaS is designed, deployed, and fully operated by Intelligent Visibility. We provide continuous support, monitoring, and lifecycle upgrades—so you can focus on your business, not your infrastructure.

Benefits of NaaS
Fully Managed from Day One
AEGIS NaaS includes design, deployment, 24x7 monitoring, incident response, and ongoing optimization. No need for internal resources to maintain or patch devices—we handle it all.
Every deployment is built around Zero Trust and SASE principles. Identity-aware access, encryption, and centralized policy control are standard, not optional.
Predictable Costs
AEGIS NaaS is offered as a subscription. No large upfront investments. No surprise refreshes. Just a consistent, predictable spend aligned with your business scale.
Best-of-Breed Technology
The platform is purpose-built using Arista (LAN + Wi-Fi) and Cato (SASE), ensuring high performance, deep visibility, and seamless cloud and edge integration.
SASE vs. SD-WAN
Many organizations begin their journey with SD-WAN. But SD-WAN alone doesn’t solve for security, access control, or cloud performance.
SASE, by comparison, converges SD-WAN, firewall, secure web gateway, and Zero Trust access into a single cloud-native platform.
AEGIS NaaS integrates SD-WAN as part of a broader SASE strategy, ensuring that connectivity and security work together from day one.

What is SASE?
Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) is a modern networking architecture that combines network connectivity and security into a single, cloud-delivered platform.
Traditional enterprise networks backhaul traffic to centralized data centers for security inspection. But with users, apps, and data now distributed across cloud services, remote workforces, and global locations—that model breaks down.
SASE solves this problem by pushing security and access control to the edge—where users and data live.
A true SASE solution includes:
• SD-WAN for intelligent, application-aware routing
• Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS) for network-layer threat prevention
• Secure Web Gateway (SWG) to enforce web usage policies
• Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) for SaaS governance
• Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) to authenticate and authorize users based on identity and context
With SASE, your security policies follow the user—not the device, network, or location.
Key Benefits of SASE:
• Consistent policy enforcement across all users and sites
• Reduced reliance on MPLS or VPN infrastructure
• Improved performance and user experience for cloud apps
• Built-in support for Zero Trust architecture
• Simplified operations through a unified platform
AEGIS NaaS leverages Cato Networks’ SASE platform to deliver all of these capabilities as part of our managed service—ensuring that every site, user, and application is protected by default, no matter where they are.
NaaS Cost Model
Traditional enterprise networking comes with unpredictable costs—hardware refresh cycles, unplanned maintenance, support contracts, and inconsistent implementation across locations. AEGIS NaaS replaces that complexity with a simple, predictable subscription model that scales with your business.
What’s Included in the Subscription:
AEGIS NaaS is delivered as a fully managed service. Your subscription includes:
- Hardware – Arista switches and Wi-Fi access points; Cato SASE edge devices where applicable
- Software Licensing – All required platform and subscription licensing from Arista and Cato
- Design & Implementation – Site surveys, architectural design, and turnkey deployment
- 24x7x365 Monitoring & Incident Response – Proactive issue detection, escalation, and resolution
- Configuration Management & Lifecycle Operations – Moves, adds, changes, and firmware upgrades
- Zero Trust & SASE Policy Configuration – Identity-based access control and segmentation setup
- NAC Policy Configuration – Identity-based access control setup and integration with IAM/Directory Services
- Cloud Management & Analytics Platforms – Access to CloudVision, Cato Management Portal, and telemetry dashboards
- Lifecycle Refresh – Hardware upgrades included at end-of-life with no additional capital outlay
There are no hidden support contracts, bolt-on management fees, or separate refresh planning exercises. Everything is included.
How Pricing Works:
AEGIS NaaS is priced based on:
- Number of locations or sites (e.g., branches, retail stores, clinics, warehouses)
- Number of knowledge workers
- Type and size of the environment (e.g. carpeted office, lab, distribution center, manufacturing)
- Service level and lifecycle planning
- Contract term
Optional Add-Ons (Priced Separately):
For environments that want to turn over management of more of the branch infrastructure, we offer the following add-ons
- Managed Detection & Response - Add 24x7 SOC with active threat hunting and remediation services for the entire AEGIS NaaS environment
- Unified Communications - Dial tone, conferencing, messaging, handsets and softphones, and SIP trunks and gateway
- Private 5G - For OT or in lieu of DAS a fully managed private 5G experience for your critical wireless infrastructure, where WiFi may not be the best solution
AEGIS NaaS transforms networking from a CapEx-heavy cost center into an agile, consumption-based service—delivering better value, more control, and complete lifecycle peace of mind!
